01 What this covers
When you interact with a messaging experience that Wellmet Labs operates on behalf of a business client, we may process limited information such as your platform-provided identifier, profile name, the messages you send, and any contact or booking details you choose to share. This page lets you ask us to delete that information.
Because we often operate experiences on behalf of a business client (who is the controller of that data), we will process your request directly and, where appropriate, coordinate it with the relevant client. For full detail on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
02 How to request deletion
You can request deletion of the data we hold about you by email, free of charge.
Email us
Send a request to sales@trywellmet.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” Include the platform you used (Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp) and the name or business you were chatting with, so we can locate your records.
To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify the request from the same email or messaging account used in the original conversation before we process a deletion.
03 Platform-specific instructions
You can also manage your relationship with our experiences directly on each platform:
Facebook Messenger & Instagram
- Open the conversation with the business page you messaged on Messenger or Instagram.
- Manage or remove the connection from your Facebook or Instagram settings under apps and websites / business connections, which stops further data sharing.
- Send a deletion request to us by email as described above, and we will delete the associated data we hold.
- Open the WhatsApp chat with the business number you contacted.
- Block or delete the chat in WhatsApp to stop further messages, if you wish.
- Send a deletion request to us by email, and we will delete the associated data we hold.
For developers / platform review: Wellmet Labs honors data-deletion requests originating from Meta's platforms, including programmatic data-deletion callbacks where applicable. Requests received through Meta's mechanisms are processed the same way as direct requests described here.
04 What happens next
- We acknowledge your request promptly, typically within 72 hours.
- We delete or de-identify the personal information we hold about you within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law (in which case we will tell you).
- We confirm completion to you at the contact point you used to make the request.
- Where the data is controlled by a business client, we will coordinate the deletion with that client.
05 Scope & limitations
Deletion applies to the personal information Wellmet Labs holds about your interactions. Some information may be retained where we are legally required to keep it, where it is necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or where it has already been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer be associated with you. Deletion of data we hold does not delete data held independently by Meta or by the business client under their own policies — you may need to contact them directly as well.
